This hand-painted animation loop was created at 8 frames per second, crafted with 45 individual acrylic-on-paper paintings. The sequence shows a girl joyfully jumping into the water, followed by a dynamic splash effect, all rendered with expressive brushstrokes and rich texture.
Each frame is painted traditionally, giving the loop a warm, organic feel that digital animation can’t quite replicate. The layered acrylic textures, subtle color variations, and fluid motion work together to create a soothing, continuous loop perfect for backgrounds, hero sections, and artistic web experiences.
If you enjoy hand-crafted animation, tactile art styles, or traditional frame-by-frame techniques, I hope this piece brings you as much delight as it did me while creating it.

A behind-the-scenes look at the frame-by-frame workflow used to create my 45-frame acrylic animation loop. See how each painting is built up with texture, color, and motion to form the final water-splash sequence.
