Baltic Power Data Storytelling

Project Objective
To create an animated film that communicates the scale and key principles of the Baltic Power investment by transforming complex energy data into a clear and engaging visual narrative.

My Role
As a motion designer, I was responsible for designing and animating environments and typography, as well as delivering the full production of the film — from concept and storyboard to final animation.

Final Outcome
A one-minute animated film presenting the offshore investment, using dynamic environments and data visualization. The project was completed within 7 days and presented during the official opening of the service station on the coast.

Key Creative Decisions

  • Visual narrative: translating energy data into accessible, visually-driven sequences.
  • Environments: building diverse scenes (sea, city, infrastructure) to convey the scale of the project.
  • Typography: animated text as a carrier of key information and data.
  • Production pace: optimizing the workflow to deliver the project within an accelerated 7-day timeline.
